Private Beauregard In 2 different ways
The visit starts with the story of the vineyard and its controlled-origin. Then you go through the magnificent historical 18th century Chartreuse house, completely restored to fit in with the vineyard around it. You will learn about the soil and our vines which is essential to understand our wine. Then we will show you our new concrete vats and the barrel cellars. At the end of the visit there will be a tasting of 2 of our wines.

Travel in time by tasting – it can be done! After visiting our installations, there will be the tasting experience of an anthology of 4 Château Beauregard vintages. This is a totally new visit for amateurs of great wines. In addition, our visitors will take away with them several souvenirs from Château Beauregard. The visit lasts l hour and 20 minutes. Price: 1 to 4 people: 200 Euros + 50 Euros per additional person.

What’s wine without gastronomy?
The explanation of our terroir, as well as our practices, is essential to our visits, however why not present products so dear to our French hearts?
The visit will end with a commented tasting of the 2 wines of the château, accompanied by a charcuterie, cheese and dark chocolate board.

Our history
In the heart of an exceptional place with a wide historical past, Château Beauregard, owned by the Moulins et Cathiard families since 2014, is reborn around its primary function: to produce a great wine from the Pomerol appellation.
The heritage legacy of Beauregard Château dates back to the 12th century and the Knights Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem, to whom we owe the Templar Cross which is emblem of Beauregard:
The current lands of Château Beauregard were already cultivated by the owners of a small mansion. On this site, the Beauregard family built five centuries later a first building that was destroyed in the Napoleonic era to be able to rebuild the current Château Beauregard: a sumptuous estate, with a prodigious architecture overlooking moats and a exceptional park signed by a student of Victor Louis the architect of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.
Over the centuries, its owners contribute to its good development and make sure to maintain its classification among the best wines of Pomerol.

Chateau Beauregard is an absolutely gorgeous property with attention paid to maintaining its natural beauty and history, while at the same time introducing amazing modernity to its wine-making capabilities that clearly contribute to the exceptional quality of its wines. Roxane provided us with one of the most knowledgeable and accessible tours of the facility and explanations of the region and wine making process. The wines speak for themselves and reflect the care taken to produce a range of easy drinkers to complex masterpieces that are an experience in themselves.

Everything was perfect. But please check on the translation of your question connoisseur/lover/neophyte - I do store 1200 bottles and would think it should say „MORE“ than 100 bottles.

The wine tasting experience was very interesting. We tried the verticale and we had the blinded tasting to understand better the differences among wines at different ages. I really recommend it.

We had a wonderful tour of this beautiful chateau by Aledie, who shared lots of interesting facts about its history and gave us a behind the scene peek into its vat and barrel rooms. Of course, the highlight was the tasting! Both the first and second wines were delicious!
